Raw Stone is for sale during the Festival and throughout the
year by appointment. Currently there is a choice of some 10
tons of different types of serpentine stone, some white, some black,
some colourful, some hard but mostly soft and easy to carve, even for beginners.

Directions to AfricArt:
by train - to Brighton station, then by bus or taxi
to AfricArt.
by bus - Bus no 27 from the town centre or Brighton Station
- direction Westdene. Get off at Whitethorne Drive from where it is a 3-minute walk to 18 Redhill Drive.
by car - Those with cars will be pleasantly surprised
at being able to park in the street. Redhill Drive is
off Valley Drive which is off the top end of Dyke Road
Ave near the A27 (to Worthing/Lewes) and A23 (to London).
AfricArt is also close to the Withdean Sports Centre.
Devil's Dyke, the legendary beauty spot on the Downs is only 10 mins' drive from AfricArt. |
